Love is in the Air at Uma Nota

Tucked away on the vibrant corner of Hollywood Road and Peel Street in Central, Uma Nota, the acclaimed Brazilian-Japanese restaurant and bar, transports São Paulo’s Nipo-Brasileiro street food and exquisite cocktails to the pulsing heart of Hong Kong. This Valentine's Day, a captivating flavour invites lovebirds to indulge in a delightful special menu on 14 February 2025 (Friday). This sumptuous Valentine’s Day dinner menu is priced at HK$688 per person for a selection of sharing starters, a main course and a dessert.

Lovers will be first welcomed with a selection of sharing starters: Artar de Vieira with fresh Hokkaido scallop tartare, asparagus, cucumber, japaleño, and lime gel, served with crispy rice on the side; Tataki de Atum, tuna tataki drizzled in a tangy black tucupi mayonnaise, tapioca furikake, and served with a refreshing ponzu sauce; Roasted Cauliflower with Amazon spice rub and vegan herb mayonnaise; and Abóbora com Camarão, whole baby pumpkin stuffed with prawns and served in a creamy sauce.

To follow, enjoy the main course with Charcoal Grilled Wagyu, served with butter-grilled leek and Yakiniku sauce, topped with Brazilian cassava foam. Finish with an enticing dessert, Maça do Amor “Brazilian love dessert” made with apple ganache, apple jelly, and a soft vanilla sponge cake.

With an invigorated sense of creativity and a deep understanding of what makes a joyful meal, the culinary team at Uma Nota, led by Executive Chef Gustavo Enrique Vargas Mora, is passionate about Brazilian and South American cooking. His menus offer diners of all persuasions and appetites a combination of Japanese cooking techniques, authentic Brazilian ingredients and unique São Paulo flavours, paying homage to the rich heritage of Japanese migration to Brazil.
