Ask for Alonzo, the beloved Italian Trattoria, is set to immerse diners in an authentic taste of Italian festivities with its specially curated festive lunch and dinner menus. Known for their genuine, home-style Italian recipes, Ask for Alonzo invites diners across six locations in Hong Kong—Quarry Bay, Tai Hang, Happy Valley, Star Street, Soho, and its brand-new Sha Tin outpost opening at the end of November —to savour the warmth and joy of the season through exceptional festive fare.
Having reached an exciting milestone with the opening of its first international outlet in Warsaw, Poland, this September, and the Sha Tin opening around the corner, Ask for Alonzo continues to deliver the comforting flavours of Italy with a festive flair.
From 25 November to 31 December 2025, diners can indulge in their festive two-course lunch menus (HK$168 per person, Monday to Friday, 11:30 am to 5 pm) or their two-course dinner menus (HK$358 per person, available daily during dinner service).
The menus begin with a decadent selection of starters that highlight authentic Italian ingredients and flavours. Choose from Italian Cold Cuts and Cheese Platter, Roman Meatballs in a rich tomato sauce topped with Parmesan, or the creamy Burrata Cheese accompanied by heirloom tomatoes and balsamic dressing. For something decadent, try the Beef Tonnato, featuring tender beef slices served on a bed of creamy tuna-mayo with tangy capers, or the rustic Tapenade Bruschetta, a medley of black olives and sun-dried tomatoes.
An Italian celebration wouldn’t be complete without an indulgent pasta course. Festivalgoers can savour options like the robust Rigatoni Amatriciana, a Roman classic bursting with the flavours of “guanciale” (salty cured pork), sweet cherry tomatoes, and a hint of chilli, or the creamy yet balanced Alonzo’s Signature Carbonara, featuring Roman guanciale, creamy Italian eggs, and a sprinkle of freshly ground black pepper all twirl up with al dente spaghetti. For seafood lovers, the Octopus Risotto, cooked in a rich lobster bisque, promises to tantalise the senses.
For those seeking heartier mains, the menu offers comforting festive options, including Roasted Turkey Breast accompanied by pork stuffing, Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes, and a flavourful veal sauce. The melt-in-your-mouth Braised Beef Cheek is paired with creamy polenta and tender carrots, while the perfectly pan-fried Sea Bream is served with salsa verde, roasted potatoes, olives, and pine nuts for a fresh Mediterranean touch.
No festive meal is complete without dessert, and Ask for Alonzo does not disappoint. Sweeten the celebration with the silky Espresso Panna Cotta or indulge in the iconic Alonzo's Signature Tiramisu, layered with creamy mascarpone and coffee-soaked ladyfingers that evoke the soul of Italian dining.
