Tucked into the centre of Taikoo Shing, À Poêle French Bistro has always brought a touch of Parisian street-corner charm. This summer, the 55-seat neighbourhood bistro enhances that experience with two new offerings: a Cheese, Charcuterie & Daily Happy Hour for late-afternoon snacking, and a Weekend Set Brunch featuring unlimited drinks, perfect for relaxing weekends the French way — slow, satisfying, with glasses in hand and conversations flowing as smoothly as the drinks.
Cheese & Charcuterie: Sweet Dreams Are Made of Cheese
For golden-hour grazing, À Poêle's L'Apéro (short for apéritif, a beloved French ritual of having drinks and light snacks before dinner), featuring an artisan cheese programme, brings a hand-picked selection of French cheeses to the table, best enjoyed the Parisian way — unhurried, shared, and paired with a glass of something crisp.
The cheese menu is available daily from 2 pm to 6 pm, the line-up includes the Camembert de Normandie JORT AOP, soft, creamy and buttery (HK$88); the nutty, semi-soft Comté Jura Reserve AOP aged 15 to 18 months (HK$88); the sweet, semi-hard Fourme d'Ambert AOP (HK$88); the rich and smooth Beaufort Chalet d'Alpage AOP, aged 12 months (HK$118); and the tangy, fresh goat's cheese Saint Maure de Touraine AOP (HK$98), and many more. Each is served at 60g with grilled bread, dried fruits and chutney, and can be paired with a curated glass or bottle from À Poêle's French wine list.
Those craving a fuller spread can share the “Say Cheese” platter and wine ($248), featuring three cheeses, including Camembert, Comte, and Fourme d'Ambert, one of France's oldest and mildest blue cheeses, served with grilled bread, dried fruits, and chutney, accompanied by a glass of Les Jamelles Pinot Noir from Languedoc, a smooth, light-bodied red wine that pairs perfectly.
Other sharing options including Cheese Board (HK$348), featuring five kinds of cheese with grilled bread, dried fruits and chutney; or the Cheese and Charcuterie Platter (HK$198 small / HK$248 large), piled with three cheeses, Bayonne ham, Jésus saucisson, cooked ham, pickles, grilled bread, eggplant dip, chutney and nuts — an easy way to turn any afternoon into an impromptu Parisian picnic.
Daily Happy Hour with Wines Starts at HK$48
Running daily from 3 pm to 8 pm, À Poêle's Happy Hour keeps the good times flowing with house red, white and bubbles at HK$48 per glass, beer and cocktails at HK$58, including the Elderflower Spritz, Lillet Fizz, Kir Louis, and Almost Amaretto (with a 0% version also available).
Pair drinks with hot bites like French Fries with truffle mayo, Potato Wedges with garlic butter, and Fried Fish Bites with tartar sauce (HK$68 each), or cool down with freshly-shucked Oysters (6pcs, HK$248), Chicken Terrine with bread and fig chutney (HK$128), or a Tapenade Dip with bread (HK$98) — a suitably French way to toast a summer evening.
À Poêle also features floor-to-ceiling wooden shelves brimming with an extensive collection of French wines. These fine selections are offered at attractive prices, allowing guests the flexibility to choose their favourite wine to savour with their meal or to take home for later enjoyment.
A Brand-New Set Brunch with Free-Flow for Lingering Weekend Affair

Weekends at À Poêle just got more indulgent with the launch of a brand-new Set Brunch (HK$248 per person), available every Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 11 am to 5 pm — a leisurely, three-course affair built for long summer mornings that drift into afternoon.
To make the weekend truly sing, guests can add a 90-minute free-flow package of brunch drinks and house wines for HK$198 per guest, which includes a selection of French wines, brunch cocktails like Mimosa, Bloody Mary with vodka, fresh tomato juice and spices; and Noisette Espresso with white rum, espresso and hazelnut — because in Hong Kong's own version of Paris, a lingering brunch is always best enjoyed with a full glass.
Diners choose one starter from options including Stuffed Eggs with truffle paste, a Granola Bowl with yoghurt, chia seeds, fruits and nuts, Seared Tuna with citrus dressing and pine nuts, or a French Charcuterie selection of Bayonne and cooked ham.
For the main course, French brunch classics take centre stage: Eggs Benedict, Eggs Royale with smoked salmon, and Eggs Florentine all come with sourdough and hollandaise sauce, while the Croque Madame and Croque Monsieur deliver on melted gruyère and ham. Heartier appetites can opt for Steak and Eggs with 200g striploin, sunny-side-up eggs, and fried potatoes, or the French Breakfast with a choice of eggs, croissant, ham, fried potatoes, and Toulouse sausage, alongside lighter picks like Caesar Salad, Omelette, and Niçoise Salad.
For a sweet finish, Chocolate Mousse or freshly baked warm Apple Crumble rounds things off.
For guests after a quicker, express brunch, À Poêle's existing à la carte brunch menu remains available every Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, offering the same relaxed Parisian spirit in a pick-and-choose format — from lighter options like the Granola Bowl (HK$108) and Overnight Oats (HK$98), to egg-centric favourites such as Eggs Royale, Eggs Benedict and Omelette (HK$148 each), heartier plates like Croque Madame (HK$168), Steak and Eggs (HK$198) and French Breakfast (HK$188), and a sweet finish with French Toast (HK$118) or Skillet Pancake (HK$98) — a lighter, no-free-flow-required way to enjoy the weekend.

About Deadly Rabbits Concepts
Founded in 2019, Deadly Rabbits Concepts is a Hong Kong-based dining group dedicated to crafting high-quality yet affordable European dining experiences. The group's name draws inspiration from the whimsical world of Monty Python, paired with the delightfully absurd sense of humour that permeates Poland, the homeland of Bart, the group's founder, who believed that the F&B industry should embody fun and light-heartedness.
The group is also the driving force behind several of the city's beloved neighbourhood dining spots, including Ask for Alonzo at six Hong Kong locations, À Poêle French Bistro in Quarry Bay, and Qué Pasa Spanish Tapas Y Vino in Tai Hang. In September 2025, the group marked a major milestone with the opening of its first international Ask for Alonzo outpost at Varso Tower in Warsaw — the tallest building in both Poland and the European Union. Building on this momentum, the group also launched The Slavic Social, a modern Polish restaurant and cocktail bar at Hilton Warsaw City, which doubles as the business club The Slavic Lab. With a growing presence across Hong Kong and an expansion into Europe, Deadly Rabbits Concepts remains committed to spreading culinary joy across borders.
