Silver Spoon Restaurants’ waterfront dining duo, The Bayside and O'Thai, inviting guests to ring in National Day in style, with the return of their much-loved Fireworks Dinner on 1st October 2026— this year priced at HK$488 per person and featuring a refreshed six-course menu blending Mediterranean and Thai flavours.

With a large dining space that seats up to 220 guests, The Bayside serves flavourful Mediterranean dishes in a lively setting. Meanwhile, O'Thai, right next to The Bayside, quickly gained popularity for its authentic Thai street food, drawing visitors with welcoming service and an energetic ambience.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Victoria Harbour, perched along Whampoa Promenade in Hung Hom, both restaurants feature indoor dining spaces with distinctive decor. A well-designed, spacious bar area connects the two venues, complemented by a shared alfresco dining space — making it a natural choice for a front-row seat to the fireworks.

All prices listed are subject to a 10% service charge.

Six-Course National Day Fireworks Dinner on 1st October for HK$488

Conveniently situated in Whampoa, just a short walk from the MTR station, The Bayside and O'Thai provide guests with an excellent vantage point to enjoy the National Day fireworks display without the hassle of crowded public areas along the busy harbour.

On 1st October (Thursday), the two dining venues are teaming up again to offer a Six-Course National Day Fireworks Dinner for HK$488 per person. The evening opens with hand-chopped Steak Tartare served with crispy Crostini and a refreshing Tuna Mango Rice Paper Roll, before moving on to warm bites of crisp Ham & Cheese Croquettes with spicy aioli and a pan-seared Crab Cake with zesty Sriracha sauce.

For the main course, diners can choose one of five indulgent options, including Seafood Linguine in a tomato herb sauce or the Signature Suckling Pig, served with rosemary potatoes and topped with honey mustard. Those craving hearty Thai flavours can choose the Jumbo Crab Egg Curry, served with a freshly baked baguette, or the Dry-Aged Wagyu Bavette, dry-aged in-house to develop a rich steak flavour with a buttery texture, accompanied by red curry vegetables and rice. Guests wanting an extra touch of indulgence can opt for the Lobster Juicy Rice to match an extravagant evening.

To conclude the feast, guests can choose between creamy Basque Cheesecake drizzled with raspberry coulis or traditional Mango Sticky Rice.

A dedicated Kids' Menu is also available for the little ones (aged 6 to 12), priced at HK$178. The set includes Impossible Slider, Truffle Bikini, and French Fries to start, followed by a choice of main course: Carbonara Pizza, Penne Chicken Alfredo, or Truffle Mac & Cheese. Sweet options include Tiramisu or a scoop of Gelato from the selection.

Table reservations are essential as space is limited. Guests can opt to dine alfresco on the spacious terrace for prime views of the National Day fireworks display, while relishing the calming sea breeze amid the vibrant show overhead.

The Bayside and O’Thai are both located at Shop G1, Ground Floor, 18 Tak Fung Street, Whampoa Garden, Hung Hom, next to the Harbour Grand Kowloon Hotel along the waterfront. About The Bayside

Since its launch in 2022, The Bayside has become a beloved culinary haven for families and residents of the Hung Hom neighbourhood. With a spacious dining area that seats up to 220 guests, the restaurant has quickly become a popular gathering spot, often bustling with diners enjoying exquisite Mediterranean-inspired comfort dishes that take centre stage, highlighting the freshest seafood, delectable tapas, and perfectly grilled dry-aged meats.

The thoughtfully designed all-day dining menu features generous portions that encourage sharing and offer exceptional value. Guests rave about the much-loved pizza selection, where the ultra-thin crust—crafted from unique tortilla dough—delivers a delightful crispy texture while remaining flexible for easy topping enjoyment. Ideal for leisurely dining, happy hour goers are invited to savour their favourite cocktails while basking in the gentle sea breeze and taking in the enchanting views of Victoria Harbour.

About O'Thai

Recognising the neighbourhood's desire for diverse dining options, Silver Spoon Restaurants opened O'Thai in early 2025, positioned right next to The Bayside. This vibrant establishment quickly became a cherished dining destination for families, drawing enthusiastic patrons with its quality, authentically flavoured Thai street food, all while offering panoramic harbour views. At the helm of O'Thai's bustling kitchen is Chef Wijannarongk Kunchit — affectionately known as Chef Amoo — who expertly delivers honest Thai flavours that honour traditional culinary practices. With capacity for 80 guests indoors, O'Thai seamlessly blends contemporary design with inviting Thai elements.
