The 2026 Chinese New Year fireworks display over Victoria Harbour is scheduled for Wednesday, 18 February, commencing at 8:00 pm, celebrating the Year of the Horse. In conjunction with this spectacular celebration, The Bayside is pleased to present a Six-Course Chinese New Year Fireworks Dinner, available exclusively at HK$498 per guest on 18 February 2026 (Wednesday), from 6:00 pm onwards. Guests are invited to enjoy the comforting flavours of Mediterranean cuisine, complemented by the spectacular view of the fireworks overhead.

Begin the evening with a selection of four enticing appetisers, including fresh Crab Claw Meat served with Toasted Crostini, and hand-chopped Smoked Wagyu Beef Tartare served on buttery brioche and topped with caviar. To continue, indulge in Pan-seared Foie Gras served with fig compote and brioche bread, and Pan-fried Crab Cake made with Phillips Jumbo lump crab meat, mixed with mayonnaise, Tabasco, and mustard. It's pan-fried to a crispy exterior with a juicy interior and served with sriracha mayonnaise.

For the main course, diners can choose from four options, including Seafood Treasure Juicy Rice, featuring a medley of fresh mixed seafood such as scallops, prawns, green-lipped mussels and fresh clams, cooked in rich lobster bisque; or Lobster Juicy Rice, topped with half a Boston lobster, for a truly luxurious experience. Also look out for King Prawn Egg Cream Curry, served with toasted baguette, or the Dry-Aged Wagyu Sirloin Steak, which is dry-aged in-house to develop a rich steak flavour, accompanied by braised Pak Choi, mushrooms and Barolo red wine sauce on the side.

To conclude the feast, enjoy the sweet finish with creamy Cheesecake ⁠topped with mixed red fruits and vanilla gelato. Guests seeking more can also choose from a limited selection of à la carte menus at O'Thai and The Bayside.

All prices are subject to a 10% service charge. Table reservations are essential as space is limited. Guests can opt to dine alfresco on the spacious terrace for prime views of the stunning fireworks display at 8 pm, whilst relishing the calming sea breeze, which showers in all the positive energy and much-needed good luck to embrace the Year of the Horse.
