Get ready to immerse yourself in a glow-tastic world at GlowBall Hong Kong, the first-ever ball pit cocktail bar in Hong Kong.
Opening its doors to the public on 23 May 2024, and boasting an impressive 750,000 glowing balls, this six-month pop-up venture caters to adults seeking a unique and vibrant entertainment experience. Featuring a dedicated cocktail bar, a cosy social area, a pulsating DJ booth, and a sprawling 700-square-foot ball pit adorned with radiant LED lights and over 750,000 translucent balls, the ball pit's depth allows guests to swim laps in a sea of glowing orbs, encouraging them to bask in the glow of nostalgia and reconnect with their inner child.
With a focus on stimulating the senses, GlowBall features mysterious black walls that serve as a canvas for customised digital wallpapers projected onto them to set the mood. The guest DJ spins tracks every Friday and Saturday from 8 p.m. to midnight.
Open every Tuesday to Saturday from 4 pm until midnight, the exclusive GlowBall experience is limited to only 30 guests per session to ensure an intimate and enjoyable atmosphere. Ticket prices range from HK$98 to HK$188 per person for either a 60-minute or 90-minute session. Purchasing tickets online in advance is strongly recommended as only a limited number of walk-in tickets may be available on-site. Feeling parched after having too much fun at the ball pit? Quench your thirst with GlowBall’s beverage program, ranging from soft drinks, mango boba iced tea (HK$60), cold brew coffee (HK$40), apple iced tea (HK$40), wine and prosecco by the glass (HK$60 each), and seasonal beers (HK$40 each).
Cocktails are an integral part of the spectacle; the debut cocktail program at the ball-pit cocktail bar offers a fresh and modern take on classic summer fizzy concoctions, each one expertly crafted to be both invigorating and easily enjoyed. Priced at HK$100 each, libations include Guava Boba G&T, a tropical twist made with guava-infused gin, oolong tea, tonic water, and “boba” tapioca balls; Pandan Highball made with pandan-infused whisky, coconut water and topped with soda water; Murder in the Ball Pit with Aperol and passion fruit juice, topped with prosecco and soda water; and Soft Ball with marshmallow-flavoured vodka, green tea, lemon and soda water.
Ease your mind and immerse yourself in the ultimate fun experience at GlowBall where hygiene and safety are the top priorities. The venue guarantees daily ball disinfection and weekly ball pit cleaning to ensure a clean and enjoyable environment for all visitors. Dedicated ball pit supervisors are always on duty to provide assistance and support. To keep the fun going smoothly, all "Glowballers" are required to wear comfortable shoes and are kindly asked to refrain from entering the ball pit barefoot. Sandals and high heels are strictly prohibited to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons.
