Casa Sophia Loren, situated in a historic building on Johnston Road, has recently introduced a monthly entertainment dining experience that captivatingly merges high-energy dance performances with vibrant Southern Italian cuisine.

This monthly musical supper pays tribute to the golden age of Italian cinema, epitomising the timeless elegance and charm Hong Kong diners crave. Professional performers will bring this cinematic vision to life through bespoke costumes, enchanting dance acts, and routines, accompanied by the sultry sounds of stunning live vocalists. Scheduled for the last Saturday of each month, with a special show on 24 May 2025 due to the public holiday on the 31st, this musical supper event offers a delightful combination of the romance and vibrancy of classic Italian cinema alongside an exquisite dining experience.

This special entertainment dinner is themed around the 1955 romantic comedy Scandal in Sorrento, an iconic film starring Sophia Loren that showcases stunning costumes. Dancers will embody the lively spirit of Sorrento fishermen’s wives, captivating guests with dynamic routines and immersive storytelling. The evening’s supper menu, curated by newly appointed Executive Chef Luca Schiavone, presents a reimagined Italian feast that highlights the vibrant flavours of seafood and Mediterranean ingredients, taking guests on a culinary journey from the salty seas to the earthy mountains of Southern Italy.

Guests will begin with a generous selection of shared appetisers featuring creamy burrata, freshly shucked oysters, beef tartare, octopus carpaccio, tuna tartare, and Italian street food-inspired fritto misto, including crispy zeppole, potato croquettes, and arancini.

For the main course, choose one from indulgent options such as Parmigiana, beef Tagliata steak, charcoal-grilled lamb chops accompanied by Jerusalem artichoke purée, Carta Fata steamed cod fish, or Tagliolini with truffle tossed in a Parmesan wheel.
